July 25, 2008 Lander County Economic Development Authority Launches Website and Advertising Campaign (Battle Mountain, NV) - Touting the business benefits of Lander County's communities of Battle Mountain, Austin and Kingston. The Lander County Economic Development Authority is launching a new web site (www.landeropportunity.org) with an accompanying print/online advertising campaign promoting the many opportunities for new and existing businesses.
The ads feature statistics and little known facts crucial for smart businesses looking for affordable land, transportation, mining opportunities and public infrastructure. The rural county is situated in the middle of northern Nevada within in one the nation's most productive gold, silver and copper mining deposits.
"Smart businesses should know first-hand about Lander County, Nevada's tax advantages, abundant natural resources -- like sun, wind and geothermal - all topped off by a unique quality of life." said LEDA Spokeswoman Sarah Burkhart.
"Battle Mountain, Austin and Kingston are committed to attracting investment from new and existing companies," she said. "Lander's opportunities are as big as the land."
The Lander County Economic Development Authority is available to help businesses with pro-business tax and incentive programs, competitive operational costs, and established water, sewer, roadway and rail infrastructure," Burkhart said.
Austin, Battle Mountain and Kingston also have an enviable quality of life with wide open spaces and unique outdoor opportunities.
The web site and advertising campaign were paid for through grants from the Nevada State Commission on Economic Development. The web site and advertisements were produced by the Elizabeth Younger Agency of Reno, NV. The ads will run over the next six weeks in business magazines in the Las Vegas, Reno, Boise and Salt Lake City, UT.
